Donald Trump's Bitcoin-Themed Sneakers: 1,000 Pairs Sold Out in Record Time!

Blogsia - Donald Trump has once again shown his support for Bitcoin (BTC) by launching a line of exclusive sneakers celebrating both the future of finance and his leadership as a presidential candidate.

Following his speech to over 3,000 attendees at last week's Bitcoin Conference, the former President is now selling sneakers to reaffirm his message. According to News.bitcoin.com, Trump Sneakers, Trump's own website selling Trump-themed footwear and fragrances, recently listed a range of limited-edition sneakers, including high-tops adorned with Bitcoin motifs.

Priced at $499 per pair for pre-order, these sneakers quickly gained attention, with only 1,000 pairs of bright orange Bitcoin-themed high-tops available, all of which have now sold out.

"This exclusive footwear celebrates President Trump’s vision for the future of finance and leadership, featuring prominent Bitcoin symbols," the product description reads.

"Perfect for crypto enthusiasts and Trump supporters alike, these limited-edition sneakers are a must-have," the description continues.

Additionally, 1,000 pairs of bright orange low-top sneakers and another 1,000 pairs in black were priced at $299 each.

Orange, the color of the high-tops, is associated with support for the world's largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The distinction between high-tops and low-tops reflects their placement on the wearer's ankle.

The high-top orange sneakers sold out by Thursday morning. Some pre-orders are already being advertised on eBay for as high as $2,500, or around $40 million.

For reference, Trump Sneakers is owned by CIC Ventures LLC, a company fully owned by the billionaire according to his 2023 financial disclosures.

Shoe Sales Unrelated to Trump’s Campaign

However, the site clarifies that these sneakers are not affiliated with Trump’s political campaign, and that they were neither designed, sold, nor produced by Trump or his associates.

The Bitcoin-themed sneakers appeared on the site shortly after Trump’s speech at the Nashville conference, where he announced plans to fire SEC Chairman Gary Gensler and establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve if elected in the 2024 US Presidential race.

He stated he would be a "pro-Bitcoin" president and would not allow the 213,239 BTC seized by authorities and held in the US government’s wallet to be sold.
